Having an Aadhaar card is essential for Indians, as it is considered one of the most crucial identity documents by the government. It can be used for filing income tax returns, opening bank accounts, getting pension money on time, LPG and other subsidies, and whenever PAN is required. You can visit the Aadhaar Enrolment Centre to apply for Aadhar card, update Aadhaar details, check status of your Aadhaar, and more. You can perform these activities from anywhere in the country. It is not mandatory to visit an Aadhaar card centre in the area where you reside.
