Datsun has solidly built the cabin with strategically placed insulation to reduce driving and wind noise. The 360 degree AC vents at the side with circular design lets you pin point exactly where you want the vent. It has music system with Bluetooth hands free calling and a digital clock. With some storage space it can hold little stuff inside. The front seats have enough leg room and would provide you stress free long journey. However the back seats are not very spacious and does not look stylish. The driver's seat is manually adjustable but the seating is not very comfortable. Over all 4- 5 people can fit in the car comfortably.
GO’s styling is very simple as well as elegant. Hexagonal grille with chrome outing and 3D shaped head lamps make it different from the other hatchbacks. With few lines on the sides, the designers have not played too much with the styling keeping it simple. The tyres of the car are too small in comparison to the body of the vehicle, however the overall look is satisfying.
The Datsun GO starts with base price of Rs.3.29 lakh.
Despite being a compact car, the cabin and boot are spacious which is not the case with other car models across its competitors.
With regards to the interiors, apart from the seats not made out of a decent material, the back seats are not very comfortable and are not manageable in long journeys. Also the open glove box on the dashboard does not look safe.
The Datsun GO gives an impressive mileage of around 18-20 kmpl.
Hyundai's Eon and Maruti are also good cars in the hatchback segment.
