The plan covers the expenses towards all day-care procedures that would otherwise require hospitalization of a minimum of 24 hours.
For every claim-free year, you will be entitled to a 10% cumulative bonus for the next policy year up to a maximum of 100% of the sum insured. In case a claim is made during a policy year, the cumulative bonus would reduce by 10% in the following year.
Covers for the medical expenses for harvesting the organ from the donor for transplantation up to a limit of sum insured.
Compensates for the Pre-Hospitalisation expenses for consultations, investigations and medicines incurred up to 60 days before Hospitalisation
Compensates for the Post-Hospitalisation expenses for consultations, investigations and drugs incurred up to 90 days after discharge from Hospitalisation.
If you are currently insured with a different insurer and wish to switch to Apollo Munich's Easy Health Family Plan, you can do the same without losing your accrued benefits after the waiting periods.
You can avail tax benefits for the premium amount paid towards this plan under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act,1961.
Depending on the plan you have opted for, you can get a daily cash allowance for up to Rs. 1,000 up to a maximum limit of Rs. 6,000. It includes coverage of date of admission and discharge charges as well.

The plan allows you for a complimentary health check at the block of every 2-4 claim free years up to a defined limit depending on the variant.
Compensates you for hospitalization towards the emergency ambulance services for sum insured more than or equal to 15 lacs.
You can avail treatment at home up to the base sum insured. There are certain terms and conditions related to this privilege, and you can refer them in the policy wordings.
The plan covers for expenses incurred on treatment taken under Ayurveda, Unani, Sidha and Homeopathy in a government hospital or any institute recognized by the state and/or accredited by Quality Council of India/National Accreditation Board on Health subject to amounts specified in the Schedule of Benefits.
The plan also provides second opinion post diagnosis of critical illness in the Premium variant.
The Premium variant covers for Spectacles, Contact Lenses, Hearing Aid Every Third Year restricted to a limit of Rs.7,500.
Based on the plan you opt, the Maternity expenses will be covered up to Rs, 30,000 and Rs. 50,000 for a normal and a cesarean delivery respectively.
Compensates for any medical expenses towards the treatment of the newborn baby. This applies if you have aleady submitted the proposal to the insurance company to add the new baby to the policy within 90 days of the birth, and paid the applicable premium if any.
The Premium variant covers for any outpatient dental treatment up to 1% of sum insured restricted to a limit of Rs.7,500.
In the Premium & Exclusive option, you can get the Recovery benefit of Rs.10,000 for the hospitalization of more than ten days.
For any reason, should you decide not to proceed with the policy, you can return the same and request for a refund within 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy document.
This is an optional coverage, and if opted, depending on the plan variant, you can choose either 50% or 100% of your base sum insured up to a maximum of Rs. 10 Lacs. The survival period of the critical illness claim is 30 days.
You can opt to cover yourself worldwide at the network centers of the company against treatment expenses for eight major illnesses. This rider offers you freedom to not only avail best healthcare services world over but also covers all travel costs for the insured and accompanying relative, accommodation expenses, second opinion & post hospitalization expenses.
A 30 days cooling off period for all claims except any arising out of accidental injuries.
The policy covers some specific diseases/treatments only after 24 months. These include Cataract, Hysterectomy, Myomectomy for Fibroids, and so forth.
You can claim for any pre-existing conditions after 36 months from the policy start date.
Claim for any Critical Illness within 90 days of the commencement of the policy in the first year and does not apply to subsequent renewals.
A waiting period of four years for any claim related maternity and connected costs.
