Sonepat is a city in the Indian state of Haryana Transport Department. The Sonepat RTO is established as per the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The Regional Transport Office of Sonepat is headed by a Transport Commissioner who is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the transport system in the city. The main job of RTO Sonepat is to collect taxes, register vehicles, issue duplicate driving license and others.
