Guna is a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. To ensure the swift functioning of the transport system in the city, the Regional Transport Office of Guna has come into being. The Guna RTO is established as per the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 to deal various transport-related matters such as issuing driving licenses, registration of motor vehicles, grant and renewal of permits, collection of taxes and other regulatory and enforcement functions.
A car insurance policy is mandatory for every vehicle registered at Guna RTO as per The Motor Vehicle Act, 1988.
