The primary job of officials of the Cuttack RTO is to ensure smooth functioning of the road transport system in the city. Cuttack RTO is headed by a transport commissioner who is responsible to bring about enforcement of various road safety measures for building a safe and effective public transport system. Cuttack RTO is involved in carrying out transport related activities such as collection of road tax, control vehicle pollution, issue driving license and others.
