Being a flagship offering from the stable of Hero MotoCorp, Karizma is designed to have looks that substantially distinguish it from its siblings. With a flared side profile that aids aerodynamic characteristics and a taller tail section, the bike is meant to look aggressive while being practical in order to cope with Indian riding conditions.
Karizma made its debut back in 2003 when it was touted as the first semi-faired motorcycle in the country. After the launch of Karizma in 2003, it underwent changes in performance released as Karizma R, and then again in 2009, it was upgraded as Karizma ZMR with changes in cosmetic and performance. Bike insurance is mandatory in India.
